HSE Environmental Contractor - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new‑build facility in Ohio, a multi‑billion‑dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a HSE Environmental Contractor to join the team and help deliver this world‑class program.

Responsibilities

• Provide field‑based environmental oversight during commissioning, qualification, and start‑up activities.
• Support environmental compliance for EPA, IDEM, permit, and site‑specific environmental programs.
• Perform environmental inspections and walkthroughs across GMP and non‑GMP areas.
• Oversee hazardous waste, non‑hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, drain protection, and air emissions compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Extensive environmental compliance experience within pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of EPA and state environmental regulations (IDEM highly preferred).
• Hands‑on experience supporting hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, and air permitting programs.
