Job summary

Rolfson Oil is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support health, safety and environmental compliance across our Texas operations. Based primarily in the Odessa office, regular travel to other offices and client locations will be required.

Responsibilities include acting as a technical expert on OSHA matters, conducting field audits, supporting regulatory adherence, and leading incident investigations with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant designation is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years in an HSE compliance role.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office with ability to learn new programs quickly.

The HSE Coordinator supports the health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance activities for the Company by providing technical, operational and administrative support of the Company's HSE Management System across our Texas operations. The position is based primarily in the Odessa office but will require regular travel to other offices and client locations.

Job Description

• Serve as technical expert on matters relating to OSHA and other regulators
• Support adherence to company policies and regulations governing Rolfson Oil operations
• Provide support and guidance to Texas Operations personnel
• Conduct regular field audits of facilities, equipment and client site operations
• Identifies and implements applicable HSE-related regulatory requirements
• Support corporate and site level safety meetings
• Lead HSE new client prequalification meetings and audits from existing clients
• Track and report statistics related to HSE compliance performance
• Support and lead incident investigations, report writing and closing out corrective actions
• Advise Management of HSE compliance concerns
• Work on special projects under the guidance of Upper Management
• Liaise with client and customer entities to support the incident investigation process
• On-Call responsibilities to respond and/or take calls in any accidents, injuries, incident, etc

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant designations an asset
• Minimum 3 years in an HSE compliance role
• Self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office with an aptitude to learn new computer programs quickly
