Job summary

Solmax is seeking an HSE Manager / Compliance Specialist for its Cornelia facility in Georgia. The role leads health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring full regulatory compliance and driving a proactive safety culture across the site.

Responsibilities include managing inspections, audits, training, investigations, and reporting, with close collaboration to plant leadership to reduce risk and maintain a safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing compliance programs, audits, and regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE programs ensuring OSHA, EPA, and state compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Drive proactive safety culture and frontline accountability.
• Coach front-line leaders to own safety at supervisor and operator levels.
• Lead investigations for injuries and environmental incidents to identify root causes.
• Maintain OSHA logs, environmental reports, recordkeeping, and metrics.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training for all employees.
• Lead drills and emergency response planning; coordinate with local resources.
