Job summary

A leading transportation solutions company is looking for an HSE Assurance Advisor based in Alexandria, VA. This role involves driving a safety culture and implementing HSE management systems in highway maintenance and construction. Candidates should have strong experience in incident investigation, safety program delivery, and knowledge of OSHA standards. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience delivering safety programs related to Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Fall Protection, Hazard Communication (HAZCOM).
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, maintenance of traffic, preferred.
• Knowledge of HSE best practices, environmental compliance, and safety systems.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations such as Clean Water Act and EPCRA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide HSE behaviors to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct assurance activities for high-risk tasks ensuring alignment with HSE plans.
• Support the development and maintenance of HSE Management Plans and programs.
• Conduct or support incident investigations and develop effective corrective actions.
