The Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) seeks an Executive Director to lead Maryland's innovative healthcare financing system and administer the AHEAD Model payment reform initiative. This role requires strategic oversight of a 47-member multidisciplinary staff and navigating complex relationships with regulators, hospitals, payers, and community stakeholders.

The Executive Director will serve as chief architect for Maryland's global budget model and healthcare payment transformation,

Qualifikationen

  • Master's degree plus seven years of analytical work in health policy.
  • Ph.D. may substitute for three years of required experience.
  • Ten years of professional experience in health policy development or healthcare financing may substitute for formal education requirements.
  • Proven experience directing a health-related professional staff.
  • Five years of experience developing and implementing hospital global budget policies or value-based payment policies.

  • Ten years of professional experience in health policy development, health economics, or healthcare financing may substitute for formal education requirements
  • Proven experience directing a health-related professional staff
  • Five years of experience developing and implementing hospital global budget policies or similarly complex value-based payment policies (preferred)
