Qualifications

• Must hold valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must hold a valid Arizona State Teachers certificate, and/or appropriate AIA Coaching Certificates and CPR/First Aide certificates.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general curriculum periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence with parents, community and other agencies.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• The Coach provides leadership and mentoring to students during sport participation.
• Provide a safe environment where students develop personal skills and teamwork.
• Advocate for the athletic department and communicate with staff, parents, and students.
• Ensure compliance with AIA regulations and district policies.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory for the athletic program.
• Mentor and coach students during practices and competitions.
