Job summary

Annapolis Area Christian School seeks a Cross Country Assistant Coach for the high school program. The role involves attending all practices and events, assisting in daily practice leadership (including running with athletes of varying levels), and supporting the Head Coach's training plans and race strategy.

Candidates should hold RRCA Level I / USATF Level 1 or be willing to obtain certification; CPR/First Aid is also required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Certification in distance running coaching is required or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Prior coaching or competitive running experience preferred.
• Background checks and faith alignment with AACS required.

Responsibilities

• Attend all practices, meets, and team events.
• Assist in leading daily practices, including running with athletes at various levels.
• Help implement Head Coach’s training plans and meet strategies.
• Model and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and accountability.
