Responsibilities

• Instruct students through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.

• Observe and evaluate student progress.

Job Description

Spearman High School is in search of a Composite Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position will pay an additional $3,000 for a Master’s degree. District pays $466 per month toward applicants’ health insurance.

Primary Purpose

Teaches and facilitates learning and maintains academic progress, discipline and records for students at the secondary level. Works with parents and students to provide and implement classroom education to meet the needs of all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification
• Composite Science certified

• Establish and enforce rules and procedures which help maintain order in the classroom
• Observe, evaluate and prepare reports on student progress
• Participate in faculty and professional meetings, conferences, workshops, and staff development
• Observe, enforce and are directed by the policies, rules and regulations adopted by the district
