Job summary

The Hun School of Princeton seeks an Assistant Cheerleading Coach to support the fall and winter seasons for students in grades 9-12. This role reports to the Head Cheerleading Coach and Co-Directors of Athletics, emphasizing safety, skill development, and program growth within a boarding school environment.

The coach will collaborate with the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach on practice planning, stunting safety, and choreography while maintaining positive relationships with students, families,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years coaching experience; high school or college preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Assistant Cheerleading Coach for students in grades 9-12 during fall and winter seasons.
• Collaborate with Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach to develop practice plans focusing on skill development and safety.
• Supervise stunting and tumbling to ensure proper technique and safety.
• Oversee equipment and uniforms and communicate needs to Co-Directors.
• Stay updated on NFHS and USA Cheer safety standards and protocols.
