Job summary

Oceans Code Experts is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will design, build, and support automation solutions across distributed systems using Python and Microsoft Azure services, enabling scalable, event-driven workloads.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development or DevOps, strong Python experience, and a solid background with Azure services, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines within Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development, cloud automation, DevOps, or process automation.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong hands-on Python for automation and backend services.
• Experience building cloud automation using Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with REST APIs, data exchange, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based automation solutions using Python.
• Build and support automation workflows with Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Storage, Key Vault).
• Manage distributed compute, batch processing, scheduled jobs, queue-based processing, and event-driven workflows.
• Implement REST APIs, web services, and data integrations.
• Ensure reliability with error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring.
• Work with SQL or other databases for data processing.
• Use Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines; participate in Agile/Scrum projects.

We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team at Oceans Code Experts. This position involves working with cloud-native automation, distributed compute, batch processing, and backend process orchestration using Python and Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will design, build, and support automation solutions across distributed systems, integrating with multiple platforms to handle scheduled, event-driven, or queue-based workloads.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based automation solutions using Python for automation, scripting, integrations, and backend services.
• Build and support automation workflows using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
• Create and manage distributed compute, batch processing, scheduled jobs, queue-based processing, and event-driven workflows.
• Implement REST APIs, web services, data exchange, and system integrations.
• Ensure operational reliability through error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring.
• Work with SQL or other databases for querying, validation, and data processing.
• Utilize Git, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and modern development practices.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments for efficient project delivery.

Job Requirements

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
