Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative to close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You will attend a comprehensive training program and work with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions.

Responsibilities

• Close sales and win business within a defined, protected territory to reach sales goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to clients and internal partners.
• Build relationships with HR and executive decision‑makers, set appointments, gather leads, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions.
• Manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, document progress, and ensure implementation of solutions.
• Cross‑sell additional ADP products to existing accounts.

Required Qualifications

• Positive self‑starter with an upbeat, persistent style and ability to cold call without fear of rejection.
• Experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales and a proven track record of closing sales.
• College degree preferred but not required; alternative experience: 3+ years of B2B sales, preferably field sales, or military experience with teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust‑building skills.
• Aspirational, thrives under pressure, and can exceed sales quotas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building a network and using social media for sales.
