Job summary

Hope Network is seeking an HRIS & Data Specialist to support HR technology, employee data, reporting, and processes. This role collaborates with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and business partners to ensure HR systems are accurate and efficient.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of HRIS, HR, Payroll, or systems experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS (UKG Pro).
• Assist system upgrades, testing, integrations, and special projects.
• Maintain accurate employee data across hires, changes, payroll, and terminations.
• Monitor data integrity with audits, reporting, and analysis.
• Create and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports and metrics.
• Research and resolve HRIS and data-related questions.
• Monitor ATS imports and troubleshoot data errors.
• Support compliance reporting (EEO-1, BLS, OES).
• Support wage updates and union wage/dues information.
• Ensure new hire documentation complies with employment requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve HRIS processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT on HR tech initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

The HRIS & Data Specialist plays an important role in supporting Hope Network’s HR technology, employee data, reporting, and processes. This role works closely with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and business partners to ensure our HR systems are accurate, efficient, and effectively supporting the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our HRIS, including UKG Pro.
• Support system upgrades, implementations, testing, integrations, enhancements, and special projects.
• Maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, employee changes, payroll adjustments, personal information updates, and terminations.
• Monitor data integrity through audits, reporting, and data analysis.
• Create and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports, queries, and metrics.
• Research and resolve HRIS and data-related questions and issues.
• Monitor ATS imports and troubleshoot data errors.
• Support compliance reporting, including EEO-1, BLS, and OES.
• Complete annual minimum wage updates and maintain union wage and dues information.
• Monitor new hire documentation to support compliance with applicable employment requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve HRIS processes, workflows, reporting, and system utilization.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams on HR technology and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.

Required

What You Bring

• Associate degree in a related field OR 2 years of relevant HRIS, HR, Payroll, or systems experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred

• Experience with UKG Pro or another HRIS.
• Experience with HR reporting, data audits, or system testing.
• Experience supporting HRIS implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Knowledge of HR processes and payroll systems.
