  • Support employee onboarding by setting up new hires in HR and payroll systems, including personal information, tax elections, direct deposit, and benefit enrollments.

  • Set up and maintain employee payroll records, including pay rates, pay groups, deductions, earnings codes, and other payroll setup requirements.

  • Manage user access and system permissions within HRIS and payroll platforms, including creating, updating, and deactivating user accounts.

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees, including validating calculated incentive amounts, reviewing time records, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Work within multiple HR, payroll, and operational systems to access, compile, and import pay data components needed to complete payroll processing.

  • Partner with key stakeholders, including operations leaders and Finance, to validate pay data and produce accurate, on-time payroll results.

  • Respond to routine employee and manager questions regarding onboarding, system access, and payroll setup, escalating complex issues as needed.

  • Support regular reporting packages related to overtime costs, review process progress, wage change activity, and retention metrics.

  • Run and distribute standard HR and payroll reports; support ad hoc reporting requests from HR, Payroll, and Finance.

  • Audit employee records on a regular basis to identify and correct data discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HRIS and payroll setup processes and procedures.

  • Assist with system testing, updates, and configuration changes as directed by HRIS and Payroll leadership.

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and site leadership to ensure employee data changes are reflected accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and compensation data at all times.

  • Support other HRIS, payroll, and HR administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems a plus; e.g. Paycom, Paylocity, Paychex, UKG

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and data organization.
