Your Opportunity

Scion is paving a path in student living, and we’re seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and user support.

The HRIS Coordinator is an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and a service-oriented mindset. This is an in-office opportunity, based at our Chicago headquarters.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and update employee records within UKG, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Assist in updating the new UKG system with historical data from ADP WFN stored in our restricted drive.
  3. Support system configurations, troubleshooting, and user access.
  4. Assist with HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics to provide meaningful insights.
  5. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to improve workflows and systems.
  6. Train and support employees on UKG usage and best practices.
  7. Respond to UKG emails in the HR Inbox and assist with troubleshooting for end users.
  8. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new UKG features.
  9. Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies through accurate HRIS data management.
  10. Generate and distribute reports related to staffing changes, payroll, and other HR metrics.
  11. Maintain electronic employee records to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  12. Provide recommendations for process improvements within UKG and other HR systems.
  13. Collaborate with Payroll Administrator to ensure employee data accuracy to prevent payroll errors.

What We Require
  1. 1+ years of HRIS experience, preferably with UKG or similar systems.
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  3. Experience with HR reporting and analytics tools.
  4. Ability to collaborate across teams and provide excellent user support.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR analytics tools.
  6. Knowledge of Cognos report writing and ClickUp is a plus.
Operational Details
  1. Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago headquarters.
  2. Working hours are standard daytime hours, with flexibility during peak times.
