University Health is seeking an HRIS Benefits Analyst to design, test, and maintain HRIS systems supporting benefits administration. The role requires building queries in PeopleSoft, validating data for vendor files, and running both PeopleSoft and SQL reports to support HR operations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least three years of experience with insurance benefits, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA, along with strong PC and Excel skills.
The HRIS Benefits Analyst researches, analyzes, designs, and maintains systems in support of Human Resources administration that are essential to the operations of University Health. Monitors Human Resources data information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet the internal and external requirements. Must be thorough and accurate in testing and implementation of database changes.Participates in Human Resources projects, events, and activities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field is required.
A minimum of three year’s recent experience administering or providing service for insurance benefits, COBRA and associated benefits is preferred.
Thorough understanding of legislation to include ERISA, Section 125/Flexible Spending Accounts, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA is required.
PC and windows experience to include spreadsheets, database management and word processing competence is required.VLookup experience is highly preferred
