Job summary

Nextech in Atlanta, GA is seeking an HRIS Administration Manager to oversee data governance and the integrity of employee records in UKG Pro. You will lead HR data administration, lifecycle transactions, and HR shared services in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, IT, and operations.

The role requires strong HRIS expertise, data analysis skills, and the ability to implement process improvements while ensuring compliance and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably UKG Pro, including data management and governance.
  • Experience with HR operational processes and audits (EEO, ACA, I-9, payroll).
  • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and communication with HR, Payroll, IT, and leaders.
  • Detail-oriented with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience supporting process improvements and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data integrity in UKG Pro and support reporting, automation, and system functionality.
  • Process employee data transactions through lifecycle events (hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
  • Support Manager Self Service, Learning & Development, Performance, Merit, and Benefits.
  • Audit data, security roles, and HR transactions for compliance.
  • Resolve data discrepancies and perform routine data validation.
  • Assist audits (EEO, ACA, I-9, payroll) as needed.
  • Document SOPs and train staff on HR data processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and leaders on initiatives.
  • Uphold company policies and professionalism.

What You’ll Be Doing

The HRIS Administration Manager is responsible for the administration, integrity, and governance of employee and organizational data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role leads the day-to-day execution of HR data administration, employee lifecycle transactions, and HR shared services operations. The HRIS Administration Manager partners with HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, field operations, IT, and business leaders to ensure employee and organizational data is accurate, complete, and compliant.

Min Compensation
USD $85,000.00/Yr.
Max Compensation
USD $110,000.00/Yr.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains the integrity of employee and organizational data within UKG Pro, ensuring accurate, reliable data that supports reporting, integrations, automation, and system functionality
  • Processes and maintains employee data transactions throughout the employee lifecycle, including hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, reporting relationships, position management, and terminations
  • Maintains employee and organizational data supporting Manager Self Service, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Merit, Compensation, Benefits, and other HR programs
  • Audits employee data, organizational structures, security roles, and HR transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established data governance standards
  • Performs routine data validation and proactively resolves discrepancies before they impact payroll, reporting, integrations, compliance, or downstream HR processes
  • Supports internal and external audits, including EEO, ACA, I-9, payroll, and other compliance requirements
  • Monitors HR transactions and performs quality reviews to ensure timely and accurate processing while meeting established service level expectations
  • Develops, maintains, and documents standard operating procedures for employee data administration and HR operational processes
  • Serves as the escalation point for complex employee data issues and HR administrative inquiriesli>
  • Identifies opportunities to improve HR administrative processes, strengthen data governance, and increase operational efficiency
  • Collaborates with HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders to support organizational initiatives, acquisitions, system implementations, and process improvements
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner
  • Upholds Company policies and procedures
  • Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public
  • Other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably UKG Pro, including employee and organizational data management, reporting, security, workflows, and data governance
  • Strong understanding of HR operational processes, employee lifecycle transactions, organizational structures, and compliance requirements, including EEO, ACA, I-9, payroll, and related audits
  • Experience maintaining data integrity through audits, validation, quality control, and governance practices, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, including experience developing reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support operational and business decision-making
  • Ability to develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and other resources that support effective HR operations
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively partner with HR, Payroll, IT, managers, and business leaders and serve as a resource for complex employee data inquiries
  • Experience supporting process improvements, organizational changes, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives to drive operational efficiency and data accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in HRIS Administration, HR Operations, Employee Data Management, or HR Shared Services
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience administering UKG Pro or a comparable Human Capital Management (HCM) platform
  • Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Continuously able to work in office environment
  • Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery,such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling,pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
  • Rarely requires climbing
