About The Position

As our Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be the driving force behind transforming Kikoff's approach to talent management and development. We're looking for someone who can bring the analytical rigor and performance optimization mindset of elite sports teams to every aspect of our employee lifecycle. This role goes beyond traditional HR - you'll help develop and implement data analytics and benchmarking to drive decision-making, shape our high-performance culture, and build scalable people systems that support our rapid growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with functional leads to architect foundational talent systems, including job architecture, compensation bands, career ladders, and promotion criteria. Collaborate with engineering, product, and other department heads to define clear expectations, calibrate compensation, and create transparent growth paths.
  • Build and maintain performance measurement systems, develop KPIs, implement regular performance reviews, and create predictive analytics to identify high-potential talent and retention risks.
  • Create dashboards and reporting systems for evidence-based decision-making on engagement, attendance, learning ROI, and policy effectiveness.
  • Lead the evolution of our performance-driven culture by using data to shape policies on remote work, time off, professional development, etc., balancing insights with company values.
  • Develop targeted development programs based on skill gap analysis and performance data to drive business outcomes.
Who You Are
  • Data-driven HR professional with 3+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in an HRBP role at a venture-backed tech company. Advanced degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, HR, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Skilled in building sophisticated models, deriving insights, and using HR analytics tools and data visualization beyond basic metrics.
  • First-principles thinker capable of breaking down complex challenges and building scalable solutions, challenging traditional HR practices when data suggests better approaches.
  • Proven experience in creating or improving performance management systems that lead to measurable talent improvements.
  • Strategic partner with understanding of how HR impacts business performance, able to influence at all levels with data-driven insights.
  • Values-aligned leader acting with urgency, transparency, extreme ownership, and balancing creativity with goal orientation.
