Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking an experienced HR Operations Leader to manage day-to-day HR activities for a facility in Perris, CA. You will oversee benefits, payroll, hiring, transfers, terminations, and policy compliance while coaching and developing associates and leaders to meet safety and operational standards.

You will drive HR programs, systems, and training, ensuring accurate HR documentation and strong stakeholder collaboration to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field.
• 2 years of Walmart logistics management experience OR 2 years of supervisory experience including 1 year managing HR processes OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. HR experience.
• Must complete all required job-training programs and assessments.
• Fluency in a language other than English (preferred).
• PHR or SPHR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals and groups verbally and in writing to define goals, manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, and coordinate workloads.
• Ensure associates complete required training to achieve facility goals.
• Manage daily HR administrative functions such as benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, and recruitment.
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies, confidentiality, and accuracy of HR documents.
• Implement and maintain HR systems and applications and gather data for HR-related issues.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, train associates on logistics and company policies, and monitor compliance.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns and recommend corrective action.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Manage and coordinate training such as new-hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based and virtual classroom training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support operational plans and initiatives.
• Support company mission, values, and ethics by implementing action plans and the Open Door Policy.
