Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an experienced HR Technology Leader to oversee HRIS and related systems, guiding the HR IT Technology team and shaping the technology roadmap in partnership with HR leadership.

The role emphasizes Workday expertise, SAP integrations, and governance across HR systems. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in HR technology, strong supervisory experience, and a related Bachelor's degree. Travel to Schofield, WI or Minneapolis, MN is expected.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in HR technology, HRIS, or HR IT roles.
  • 6-8 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting HR system integrations with SAP and third-party vendors preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR shared services or large HR user communities preferred.
  • Workday HCM experience required; knowledge of multiple Workday modules preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and reporting preferred.
  • Workday certification or other HR technology certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the HR IT Technology team.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new HR systems and solutions.
  • Recommend changes to HR CoE procedures by developing systematic and automated processes to improve work efficiency, including work in the Workday ecosystem and other technical solutions used by the HR team.
  • Prioritize and oversee the HR technology project portfolio, balancing business priorities, resource availability, and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Partner with HR Leadership and the CHRO to develop and maintain the HR technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and support organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the primary HR technology liaison to HR leadership, IT, and key business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate with IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field of Workday and HR systems to bring innovative solutions and make recommendations for improvements or new technologies.
  • Manage and oversee HR’s full technical systems landscape, maintaining secure, available, and performant systems.
  • Partner with HR leadership to establish and maintain HR technology governance practices, data standards, and system controls to support compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
  • Delegate tasks to team members and third‑party consultants and vendors ensuring everyone is working on the right projects.
  • Ensure technical issues are overseen and train systems analysts.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and functional standards for HR systems and integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing

What You Should Have

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $144,462‑$178,453 and may vary based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance. Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work, occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, repetitive motion, and substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in‑person meetings and complete various office tasks.
