Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and onboarding policies and practices.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to work effectively with others in a professional manner.
• Ability to present to groups including employees and management.
• Ability to create, update, and present data from recruiting software and LMS clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Experience or ability to learn HRIS or ATS systems, preferably Workday.
• Experience in manufacturing, food and beverage environment preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports and procedures.
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills for basic analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partners with supervisors and HR to determine staffing needs and implement recruiting strategies.
• Post positions and manage requisitions through hiring processes efficiently.
• Conduct prescreen phone interviews.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and tours.
• Place advertisements and use recruitment tactics.
• Make verbal and written job offers in Workday.
• Guide candidates through post-offer processes.
• Schedule orientations for new hires.
• Coordinate with agencies for temporary staff as needed.
• Monitor temporary staffing and communicate with agencies.
• Post internal union bids and coordinate movement of bidders.
• Assist in posting and selection of weekly overtime for union employees.
• Support HR and administrative duties as needed.
• Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement.
• Provide data and reports to HR and plant leadership for decision making.
• Manage LMS and weekly/monthly reporting.
• Engage in HR projects and process improvements.
• Maintain confidential HR records.
