Koch Foods in Alabama seeks an HR Generalist to assist in employee relations, recruitment, training, and investigations within a manufacturing setting. You will handle I-9 audits, unemployment claims support, and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, delivering timely HR reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business or related field.
• 2+ years HR/employee relations experience, preferably manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law (Title VII, EEOC, ADAA, FMLA).
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Strong technology and computer skills; organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Job description

Requirements

• 2+ years HR and employee relations experience; preferable within a similar manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Frequently sit for long periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
