Job summary

Oatey offers a 12-week summer internship called the Oatey Intern Experience, designed to develop students into future HR leaders. You will engage in mentoring, development sessions, and networking events while contributing to meaningful HR projects.

As an HR Intern, you’ll partner with HR professionals across corporate and field locations on talent management, recruiting, HR technology, and Total Rewards, with opportunities for growth and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Overall 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Join meetings with HR team and external partners to learn about the HR function.
• Shadow functional and field HR team members to understand responsibilities.
• Apply basic understanding of employment law to assigned projects.
• Assist recruiters in sourcing and screening candidate resumes.
• Use data from HRIS to identify trends and improve onboarding.
• Assist with Workday auditing and data integrity of employee records.
• Maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
• Contribute to other HR projects as assigned.
