Job summary

Home Chef in Kentucky is seeking an HR Specialist to provide life cycle HR support for approximately 500 associates, including attendance, payroll file submission, onboarding, offboarding and leaves administration.

You will be a member of the Plant People team, contribute to employee engagement and Home Chef’s DE&I initiatives, and handle policy questions with careful confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years HR experience, incl. 3+ years as HR Associate/Specialist.
• Strong communication and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
• Experience with HR systems like ADP and Kronos.

Responsibilities

• Provide life cycle HR support for ~500 employees, including attendance, onboarding, offboarding, and leaves.
• Process time off requests and assist LOA processes.
• Answer policy questions and guide system access (ADP, Kronos).
• Partner with safety and facilities on onboarding badges and terminations.
