Job summary

Northern Star Resources Ltd. is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our Pogo operation in Alaska.

This full-time, office-based role provides recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration support to ensure an efficient hiring process and a positive experience for candidates and new employees. You will coordinate pre-employment checks, maintain accurate records, and support collaboration between hiring managers, HR, Payroll, IT, and Security while handling highly confidential information

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or relevant education preferred.
• At least 1 year of HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar experience.
• Experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, HR administration, or similar administrative role.
• Experience handling sensitive records with confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/HR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, including pre-employment checks and orientation.
• Support recruitment through job postings, screening, interviewing, and scheduling.
• Prepare Employee Agreements and HR correspondence using approved templates.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely submission per policy.
• Protect confidential candidate, employee, and company information.
