Job Opportunity: HR Specialist (Manufacturing) in Portland, OR

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HR Specialist for a manufacturing client in Portland, OR. This is a local position with ID 3189111466, active since May 11, 2025.

Our client is looking for an HR Generalist with at least 3 years of progressive experience in Payroll, Leave Administration, Safety/Workers Compensation, and Employee Relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation
  2. Administer leave programs and maintain legal compliance
  3. Manage workers' compensation claims and workplace safety initiatives
  4. Handle employee relations matters, providing support and guidance to staff
  5. Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR functions such as payroll, leave administration, safety, and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, in-office environment

Pay: $28 - $32 per hour, DOE
