The Human Resources Specialist supports employee experience from recruitment through separation by managing employee records, HR systems, onboarding processes, employee engagement activities, and staff development initiatives. This position serves as a key administrative and operational resource for the Human Resources department, ensuring accurate HR documentation, compliance with recordkeeping requirements, and positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Employee Lifecycle Administration
  • Coordinate and support employee onboarding, transfers, status changes, and separations.

HR Records and Compliance Support
  • Establish, organize, and maintain employee personnel files in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Track required employment documentation and assist in maintaining compliance-related records.
HRIS Administration
  • Serve as a primary administrator for HR systems, including Paycom and other HR technology platforms.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for HR and organizational leadership.
  • Assist employees and managers with self-service functionality and system-related questions.
Employee Engagement and Recognition
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, celebrations, and engagement activities.
  • Plan and support employee appreciation events, milestone celebrations, wellness initiatives, and special employee programs.
  • Assist with employee communications related to engagement activities.
  • Gather employee feedback and support initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
Onboarding and Employee Development
  • Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain employee training records and generate reports on training completion.
  • Support leadership development, employee education, and continuous learning initiatives.
Employee Lifecycle Administration
  • Coordinate and support employee onboarding, transfers, status changes, and separations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable record retention requirements.
HR Records and Compliance Support
