Job summary

ASR International is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support the day-to-day administration of our HR programs and employee lifecycle activities. This position is ideal for an experienced HR Generalist looking to take the next step in their career while working directly with company leadership.

The role encompasses recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, compliance and employee recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience.
• 5+ years managing corporate insurance programs, employee benefits, or related functions.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state insurance regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for corporate and contract positions.
• Post jobs, screen applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring activities.
• Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Conduct employee onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment documentation.
• Manage benefits administration and enrollment processes.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employee benefits inquiries.
• Coordinate with benefit providers and brokers.
• Assist with compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Support EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other employment-related requirements.
• Maintain HR databases and personnel records and reports.
• Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.
