DC Army National Guard is seeking an HR Specialist to be the primary resource for Soldiers regarding benefits, policy, or sensitive issues. You will help develop Guard careers and provide personnel support across divisions.

Responsibilities include maintaining personnel records, data entry, coordinating evaluations, and handling ID cards, leaves, and awards requests, while supporting readiness, health, and welfare of Soldiers.

Qualifications

• Enlistment in the Army National Guard and eligibility.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Age range 17–35 years.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details).

Responsibilities

• Assist on all human resource support matters
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
• Postal and personnel accountability support
• Maintain emergency notification data
