DC Army National Guard is seeking an HR Specialist to support Soldiers with benefits, policy questions, and sensitive issues. You will help develop Guard careers and provide personnel support across divisions within the Guard.

Responsibilities include organizing personnel records, data entry, processing recommendations, coordinating evaluations, and managing IDs and leave requests. This role emphasizes readiness and welfare of Soldiers along with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with personnel records management and data entry.
• Ability to follow detailed orders and maintain filing systems.
• Strong people skills and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist on all human resource support matters
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
• Postal and personnel accountability support
• Maintain emergency notification data
