Job summary

Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, AL is seeking an HR professional to provide day-to-day HR services to team members and leadership. You will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, HRIS management, and record-keeping to ensure compliant and efficient people operations.

You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff, help interpret policy, and support engagement initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to hospital

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR experience preferred; healthcare HR experience is a plus.
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, payroll practices, and confidential data handling.
• Knowledge of Ceridian/Dayforce HRIS/Payroll system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR services to staff and leadership.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits and leave administration.
• Manage HRIS and personnel records, policy interpretation, compliance, and engagement.
