Job summary

Addison Group, Austin-based, is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to support daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS administration. This on-site role partners with payroll and leadership to ensure accurate data and smooth processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and system updates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and partnering with leadership as needed.
• Assist with benefits administration and leave tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with internal audits.
• Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and processing.
• Contribute to process improvements within HR operations.
