In furtherance of this mission, the BXDA seeks experienced and enthusiastic Senior Recruitment Coordinator in the Human Resources Recruitment unit to aid and oversee all aspects of recruitment activities.

  • Documents recruitment and interview activities in NYCAPS and ensures required records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with agency and City requirements.
  • Coordinates with appropriate stakeholders to determine and secure salary information in preparation for extending job offers, ensuring compensation recommendations are consistent with applicable policies, classifications, and requirements.
  • Processes new hires, promotions, transfers, and other personnel actions in accordance with Citywide requirements and DCAS policies and procedures.
  • Initiates and monitors all required tracking activities and workflow processes for selected candidates, following up with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of outstanding requirements.
  • Reviews, verifies, and maintains all required pre-onboarding and personnel documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Facilitates the end-to-end processing of selected candidates by reviewing and submitting e-Hire packages and ensuring candidates receive, complete, and return all required documentation.
  • Serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and agency stakeholders, providing timely guidance regarding recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding requirements.
