TekPro Support Services, LLC is hiring for an HR Security Specialist

The HR Security Specialist supports security efforts for their designated command station.

This is a 100% onsite position at Stewart Lee Udall Department of the Interior Building in Washington, D.C. It is a part-time or full-time role until September 30th, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate background investigations and review completed forms in NBIS system.
• Complete daily eDelivery downloads and enter data into the NPS Backgrounds Investigation Management Database and spreadsheets.
• Mail out childcare forms (if support is not remote) and report to MIB.
• Initiate PERSEC tasks in USA Staffing.
• Upload signed Certificates of Investigations (COIs) into eOPF.
• Complete Sponsor tasks in DOIAccess.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Understanding of security policies, procedures, and practices relevant to government contracts.
• Familiarity with regulations such as FAR and DFARS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS Security and External Recruitment Resources.
