We are looking for a highly engaging, compassionate, customer focused individual to join our Human Resources team as a HR Recruiter & Training Coordinator. The successful candidate for this role is engaging, full of energy, compassionate, and is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally. The HR Recruiter & Training Coordinator supports the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing training, development, and benefits administration support. This position coordinates full-cycle recruitment activities, facilitates new-hire onboarding, maintains training and certification records, supports annual open enrollment and benefits processing, supports employee communications, and helps ensure HR files and documentation remain accurate, organized, and compliant. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This individual enjoys connecting with people while maintaining the administrative discipline necessary to track recruitment activity, training requirements, certifications, benefits deadlines, and employee records. This position works closely with Human Resources leadership, department leaders, and associates to support staffing needs, employee development, benefits administration, compliance, and a positive workplace culture.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant education and/or experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Approximately 1-2 years of relevant experience in recruiting, Human Resources administration, training coordination, hospitality HR, or a related function preferred. Hospitality or hotel Human Resources experience is preferred. Experience with Workday or a comparable Human Resources/recruiting system is preferred. Experience with Learning Management Systems or employee training platforms is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, associates, managers, and senior leaders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, interviews, training schedules, certifications, benefits deadlines, and administrative responsibilities simultaneously. Ability to maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical records. Strong follow-through and ability to independently track outstanding items through completion. Comfortable learning and working with HR technology, recruitment systems, training platforms, Microsoft Office, and other business applications. Ability to create clear, professional, and visually engaging employee communications, flyers, and bulletin-board materials. Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information. Collaborative, service-oriented approach with a commitment to supporting both employees and operational leaders. Ability to adapt priorities based on changing hotel and staffing needs. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred (not required) and, where applicable, related to legitimate business needs of the property.
