Job summary

Woods System of Care seeks a Talent Acquisition professional to lead employment activities across Woods System of Care / Affiliates. You will develop and coordinate hiring strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with programs and departments to meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities include screening resumes, managing the applicant tracking system, coordinating interviews, and building relationships with community partners to source qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources, recruitment, health care or human services preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, experience conducting interviews and screening resumes is required.
  • Experience in health care or human services preferred.
  • Current valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with all levels of employees and work in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to assertively and effectively contact, communicate and approach prospective applicants/candidates for employment.
  • Computer literacy is required.

  • Reviews and maintains information in the applicant tracking system / HCM; uses the database to select qualified candidates and tracks recruitment data.
  • Conducts phone and video screenings and monitors candidate testing when applicable.
  • Monitors internal requests for vacant positions and processes transfer requests/reviews personnel files for eligibility.
  • Coordinates interview schedules with applicants and managers for vacant positions.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with affiliate staff, hiring managers and directors receiving employment services.
  • Posts vacancies on internet career sites and sources.
  • Builds applicant sources by contacting community services, colleges, agencies, recruiters, media and websites.
  • Verifies information and references and credentials to meet job requirements.
  • Extends offers of employment and communicates next steps to candidates.

Salary: Starting at $55,000 / Annually - depending on education / experience
Job Summary

Responsible for the acquisition of sufficient qualified candidates for employment to support the staffing needs of Woods System of Care / Affiliates. Responsible for developing, coordinating and monitoring employment activities that pertain to the needs of Woods System of Care / Affiliates. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local employment regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with all affiliate staff, hiring managers and directors to whom employment services and recruitment are provided.

  • Utilizes the internet career sources to post assigned vacant positions when applicable.

  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.

  • Verifies information and references provided by applicants. Verifies credentials to ensure applicants meet the educational, licensing and experiential requirements of the positions.

  • Refers screened candidates to management for interviews/selection and extends external and internal offers of employment. Reviews employment procedures and requirements with newly hired employees, transfers and promotions. Creates job offer letters and “not selected” emails when applicable.

  • Assists with scheduling newly hired employees, transfers, and promotions in order to ensure that all post-hiring forms are completed, copies of all required documents for personnel file are obtained and proper orientation/training is completed.

  • Ensures all policies and procedures pertaining to employment activities are followed.

  • Assists the Human Resources Department as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager or VP of Talent acquisition.
