Job summary

Prairie Public is seeking a HR/Payroll Manager to oversee the organization’s HR and payroll functions across multiple sites. The role balances employment needs with compliance and accurate payroll processing.

The candidate should have accounting and general ledger knowledge, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business/HR, and ideally two years of related experience. This is a salaried position with an excellent benefits package.

The position balances the employment-related needs of both the organization and its employees by ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Performs all functions involving the preparation and maintenance of payroll for a multi-site organization. Knowledge of FCC filings is a plus.

Must have accounting and general ledger knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR management, or related field or equivalent work experience. Prefer two years experience.
