Job summary

Hillsdale Health & Rehab Center in Charlottesville, VA seeks a dedicated HR payroll administrator to join our compassionate skilled nursing facility. You will manage HR/payroll tasks, support recruitment, onboarding and staff retention, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in Payroll and/or HR Administration.
• Knowledge of payroll/personnel laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, workers' comp & unemployment).

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer and perform human resources/payroll functions to the community in accordance with current acceptable accounting principles relating to operations, state and federal regulations, and as directed by the Administrator. Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in Payroll and/or HR Administration.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning payroll/personnel administration in nursing care facilities, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, Workers' compensation & unemployment.

• Must possess intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through HRIS software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Days, Monday - Friday

• Wage: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
