Job summary

Strada is seeking a Junior HR & Payroll Specialist with German to join our team and support payroll tasks for a diverse client base. You will manage tickets, interpret payslips, and ensure accuracy while safeguarding confidential information.

The role requires 1–2 years of payroll or benefits experience in HR Outsourcing or corporate settings, with strong MS Office skills and German and English at B2 level. A hybrid work arrangement is available in a global environment.

Junior HR & Payroll Specialist with German

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage payroll tasks using the appropriate ticket and payroll systems applying the defined standards and client specific requirements
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
• Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and associated activities
• Be able to understand and interpret a payslip
• Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar
• Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities
• Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Produce and understand basic standard and client specific payroll reports
• Review and validate data for accuracy
• Answer basic payroll questions and requests through communication channels agreed for the client (phone, e‑mail, ticket)
• Participate in projects and activities as needed and assigned

Required Experience

• Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Advanced German & English skills (minimum B2)
• 1‑2 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR Consulting, HR Outsourcing or other corporate environment
