Jupiter Power LLC in Houston, TX seeks an Associate, Human Resources to run payroll, administer benefits and the 401(k) plan, and support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This hybrid role requires three days in the Houston office under the company return-to-office policy.

You will be a pivotal resource for employee questions, maintain records, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and external providers to deliver timely, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 2–4 years of progressive HR experience preferred with payroll and benefits focus.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, benefits, and 401(k) administration.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; ability to learn new platforms.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day payroll processing from preparation through submission.
• Reconcile payroll with Finance and payroll providers; support year-end processes.
• Administer employee benefits incl. enrollments, life event changes, and coverage issues.
• Administer 401(k) processes: eligibility tracking, enrollment support, contributions.
• Coordinate with brokers and carriers to resolve coverage issues and reconcile invoices.
• Provide HR support, policy guidance, and handle routine employee relations matters.
• Maintain personnel files, I-9 processing, and audit readiness.
