Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Michigan seeks a Business Office Manager to oversee Accounting and Human Resources functions, including payroll, benefits administration, new hire orientation, and reporting to the Executive Director.

You will supervise staff, maintain files, ensure confidentiality, and support move-in processes, billing tasks, and vendor coordination — emphasizing accuracy, discretion, and resident service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Human Resources or Accounting preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience working in senior housing or long-term care preferred.
• English fluency preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident, business office and employee files.
• Perform Human Resources function by conducting new hire orientation and administering benefits.
• Assist in answering resident billing issues and maintain the accounts payable/workflow.
• Ensure payroll is accurately prepared and reported to the corporate office.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary, financial, and resident information.
• Support safety and disaster plan procedures.
• Attend training, in-service, and staff meetings.
