Job summary

Petco in the United States is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to drive organizational, talent and cultural transformations. You will coach leaders to hire, develop and retain talent and partner with HRBPs and stakeholders to ensure compliant, ethical practices.

Responsibilities include advising managers on policies, aligning priorities with strategy, and developing managers with personalized plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
• Minimum five years’ work experience in human resources.
• Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.

• Act as first point of contact for managers and partners to drive organizational and cultural transformations.
• Coach leaders to hire, inspire, develop and retain talent.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and stakeholders across client groups and HR teams.
• Provide advice to ensure policy application and 100% compliance.
• Guide managers to align priorities with business strategy.
• Develop managers with personalized development plans.
• Support hiring to attract top partners.
• Assist with performance development, compensation planning, and new manager onboarding.
