Job description

Welcome to Haleon. We’re a purpose-driven, world-class consumer company putting everyday health in the hands of millions. In just three years since our launch, we’ve grown, evolved and are now entering an exciting new chapter – one filled with bold ambitions and enormous opportunity.

Our trusted portfolio of brands – including Sensodyne®, Panadol®, Advil®, Voltaren®, Theraflu®, Otrivin®, and Centrum® – lead in resilient and growing categories. What sets us apart is our unique blend of deep human understanding and trusted science.

Now it’s time to fully realise the full potential of our business and our people. We do this through our Win as One strategy. It puts our purpose – to deliver better everyday health with humanity – at the heart of everything we do. It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted, in-market HR partner helping employees and managers navigate important people matters while bringing enterprise HR programs to life locally.

As the primary HR contact for needs that require local knowledge, judgement, or hands-on support, you will provide practical guidance, lead employee relations matters, and help ensure HR services are accurate, compliant, and easy to use.

You will work across our HR network—partnering with HR Business Leaders, Centers of Excellence and People Solutions teams—to deliver a seamless employee experience, support business priorities and implement change effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver trusted local HR support
  • Ensure locally delivered HR activities meet legal, regulatory and company requirements, applying sound local interpretation where needed.
  • Maintain audit readiness, coordinate required data and documentation, and partner with internal teams or regulatory bodies.
  • Protect employee records and HR data, upholding confidentiality, privacy, and local data-protection requirements.
  • Coordinate local HR systems and payroll support when required for in-market delivery.
Advise employees and managers
  • Serve as the primary local HR contact for matters that require judgement, local interpretation, or support beyond standard digital and transactional services.
  • Coach managers on policies, employment practices, onboarding responsibilities, and complex people processes.
  • Lead or oversee employee relations matters and workplace investigations, escalating cases when appropriate.
  • Help employees and managers use self-service tools confidently and connect them with the right HR resources.
Lead HR projects and change
  • Lead HR projects from planning through delivery, aligning stakeholders, managing risks and tracking progress.
  • Translate enterprise HR programs into practical local plans that reflect business and workforce needs.
  • Support organizational and workforce changes, including restructures, site changes, mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and employee transitions.
  • Prepare leaders and employees for new HR initiatives and coordinate implementation across HR and the business.
  • Provide flexible support on high-priority projects across operating units, functions, and markets.
Location:

Lincoln, Nebraska. This role requires a minimum of three days on site each week.

Why you?

You are a practical, trusted HR professional who combines sound judgement with a strong service mindset. You build credibility with employees and leaders, oversee sensitive matters with care, and bring structure and momentum to projects and change. You are comfortable working across teams and know when to act independently, collaborate or elevate.

What You Will Bring
  • HR generalist experience supporting employees and managers in a site, market, country, or multi-location environment.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices relevant to the role’s geography.
  • Experience coaching managers, managing employee relations matters and conducting or supporting workplace investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver HR projects or change initiatives through planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and follow-through.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a changing environment.
  • High discretion, integrity and commitment to confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Clear, practical communication and the ability to build effective partnerships across HR and the business.
  • Confidence using HR systems, data, and digital tools to support accurate decisions and service delivery.
It would be a plus if you have
  • Professional HR qualification, relevant degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a multinational, matrixed or shared-services HR environment.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or other regulated site-based workforce.
  • Experience implementing company-wide HR programs across teams, locations, or business areas.
  • Exposure to organizational change, workforce transitions, compliance, audits, payroll, or HR operations.
  • Familiarity with employee self-service platforms and modern HR service-delivery models.
Benefits

Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
