Job summary

YMCA of Greater Dayton is seeking an Human Resource Specialist to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee changes, while coordinating with the VP of Association Advancement.

The role supports HR systems like Paycor, Jobvite, Linked, and LMS, and facilitates training, policy implementation, and safety compliance across branches. Must have HR support experience and appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associates degree in HR preferred.
• Two years administrative support experience; minimum one year HR support experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Paycor and OnBase experience preferred; ability to learn YMCA software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HRIS Paycor and ATS Jobvite; manage employee data and workflows.
• Serve as first contact for HR system issues (benefits, WC, FMLA).
• Oversee onboarding, hiring, and employee change processes.
• Support recruitment campaigns with VP of Association Advancement and branch staff.
• Develop and track performance reviews and compensation strategies for hourly staff.
• Lead training programs for HR systems and processes across branches.
