Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration; PHR/SPHR desirable.
• Five or more years of HR experience with emphasis on employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Significant knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with union collective bargaining agreements is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer HR policies to ensure compliance with EMCOR and legal requirements.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and new hire documentation for bargaining and non-bargaining staff.
• Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and related inquiries; coordinate with Payroll.
• Lead employee relations initiatives; address leave requests, performance issues, and policy violations.
• Support compliance reporting, audits, and policy updates; collaborate with leadership on HR initiatives.
