Kelly Services is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources for a manufacturing operation in Bronx, NY. The role covers employee relations, labor relations, recruiting, performance management, workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate has strong employee relations experience, with union/labor relations and bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred. This onsite, full-time temp-to-hire position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including employee and labor relations.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments preferred.
• Union labor relations experience and bilingual Spanish/English are strengths.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor on employee relations and policy matters.
• Lead employee relations investigations and ensure compliant resolutions.
• Coach managers on performance, attendance, and development.
• Support labor relations, including contract interpretation and grievance processes.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for professional roles.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
