Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1 year as an HRBP or HR Generalist, ideally in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of US federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, wage & hour, leave, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.

  • Coach frontline managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and terminations.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
  • Partner with HR leadership and legal counsel on complex or high-risk ER cases.
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and headcount forecasting aligned to the site's business and budget cycles.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiters, local workforce boards, community organizations, and technical schools.
  • Execute and refine the site's hiring process — interview structure, scorecards, and hiring manager training.
  • Track and report recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source-of-hire).
  • Support new-hire onboarding, orientation, and early-tenure integration.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and payroll administration in partnership with global corporate HR and US third-party providers.
  • Help localize and roll out US policies: employee handbook, leave management, safety, code of conduct.
