Job summary

Citrin Cooperman seeks a detail-oriented Human Resources Jr. Generalist to support the people needs of our Staff and Partners across our Southern California, Midwest & Southeast Regions.

This hybrid role will be based out of our Chicago office, handling HR operations, onboarding, and recruitment support to ensure smooth people processes and compliance across the firm. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or relevant field.
• 2–4 years HR experience, preferably in a professional services or corporate setting.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to review HR metrics and provide recommendations.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a sense of urgency.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate internally.
• HR certification a plus.
• Strong proficiency with HRIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS updates.
• Generate reports on headcount, turnover and other HR metrics.
• Communicate employee updates to internal stakeholders.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate with talent acquisition, IT, and other stakeholders for new hires.
• Submit requisitions in HRIS; support campus recruiting events.
• Respond to inquiries regarding firm policies and resources.
• Support engagement initiatives and performance management.
