Job summary

Washington Headquarters Services in the National Capital Region seeks a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist to manage HR data quality in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and oversee processing, with assignment of work to staff.

The role provides authoritative guidance on HR actions and ensures legal compliance while delivering full HR advisory services, including DCPDS processing, with telework available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsibility for data quality in DCPDS and associated FPI systems.
• Assign work to subordinate employees based on priorities and difficulty.
• Provide guidance, advice, and policy interpretation regarding the legal accuracy of HR actions and program improvement in HR specialties.
• Supervise HR IT Processing, planning, organizing, and directing the Processing Branch to ensure HR compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
