Job summary

You will work with the HR team to support day-to-day activities, attend career fairs and university partnerships, assist with new hire processes, maintain records, and learn how HR supports operations in office and field environments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous work, internship, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team with day-to-day activities, projects, and administrative needs.
• Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and events.
• Participate in career fairs, school partnerships, and community outreach.
• Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation, including materials and documentation.
• Maintain accurate team member records and HR documentation.
• Support data entry, reporting, and updates within HR systems and spreadsheets.
• Prepare HR reports, presentations, and communications.
• Support training and development initiatives including scheduling and logistics.
• Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
• Conduct research to support HR programs and projects.
• Participate in HR projects to improve processes and experiences.
• Visit cement plant and aggregate operations to learn the business and HR support needs.
