Job summary

Interns will participate in campus recruiting events, coordinate background checks, and assist with employee programs while developing leadership and organizational skills in a hands-on setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field for the entire duration of internship.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize while handling multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities for manufacturing and office positions including pre-screening candidates, scheduling, and conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening.
• Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed.
• Assist in company training such as New Employee Orientation, Harassment Prevention, Ethics, and other HR related training.
• Assist with maintenance of confidential employee and applicant information utilizing HRIS systems.
• Assist with various employee events such as Employee Roundtables and Service Award Luncheons.
• Perform research and assistance for HR and Benefits related projects as needed.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.
